White Spirit to remove thermal paste

Yesterday I used white spirit to remove thermal paste on my CPU so I could install my new cooler.
After I wiped off the thermal paste I took a new piece of paper and made sure the cpu didn't have any more white spirit on it, and I waited 10 minutes before I installed the cooler on the cpu. Is that safe? or can it catch on fire? My temps are 60c on full load w/ 4790k.

It should have been fine but did you reapply new Compound correctly and is your Cooler installed tight and flush?

The new cooler had thermal compund on it (H100i GTX) and yes the cooler is installed tight and correctly .

And that is just fine.
