White spots on monitor behind LCD?

My month old Acer monitor has two white spots that are only a few pixels wide that can be seen clearly at extreme viewing angles. The pixels are fine, but it seems as if there is light shining through the two small holes. You can barely notice at all at normal viewing angles, but I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue. I assume RMA is unnecessary and impossible, but said spots can't be a good sign...

Sounds like backlight bleeding. Does it look like these:

If so, that is something you have to RMA for.

It is not backlight bleed per say, but seems moreso to be tiny tears in the panel behind the lcd; again, it has no visible effect at normal angles...
