Who has the Coolermaster RC690???

For anyone who has this case, are you suppose to plug the rear,front, and side fans on to the motherboard via the 3 pin connectors? I am used to only plugging in the Chassis fans with the 4pin molex to the Powersupply.

And, are the 1394 and other front panel cables supposed to be dificult to plug in? I noticed they do not snap in, and if I go in the case, I can easily knock it out of its place.

i do NOT have the case...
every case has a different front panel cable configuration. some are better than others. yours may not be particuarly secure, but as long as u plug them all in in the right places you should be fine.
also, some cases have speed-controllable fans, some dont, so they just have molex connectors.

THank you for responding. Yes, I understand what your saying. I'm going to go back and check all my connections.

I booted up for the first time, and the ASUS bios flashed the message *Hard disk not detected*,

But when I go into BIOS, my Western Digital 500gb HDD and CD drive both SATA II are listed in there......


Ugh, I have some troubleshooting to do im pissed

Ugh, I need to go back and make sure everything is connected. Then get windows 7. Too bad everywhere I go is only the "upgrade" windows 7. Hopefully no parts are bad and everythign is cool.

The only part i got a little confused about installing what the front panel cables and some of them didn't feel properly secure in the mobo but we will see what happes tomorrow I have a headache and need some sleep
