Who invented modern technologies and computers western world or eastern ??

Is USA the sole inventor of all computer gadgets like motherboard,CPU, monitor etc. or the Europeans invented it ? or Asians ?? Please help ??

the first real computers were tube units you see in old 1950 scfi movies with paper tape or punch cards. ibm was in the 1970 on of the biggest leader in computers. back then it was mostly punch cards and tape drives. compaq was the first real pc clone of ibm 286/386. ibm sued compaq and lost.
