Who is better? Asus Z170-A vs Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 6

Hello everyone. I would know what mobo is better, because i make my first build with a i7 6700k.

It called my attention the bios of asus z170a It is easy to handle with respect to the gigabyte.


the asus mobo have only 1 m.2 slot and 1 sata express, the z170x have 3 sata express and x2 m.2 slot.

which recommend? thanks!

there's a reason the Gaming 6 is usually 35$ more expensive

- better sound chip (ASL 1150 vs ACL892)
- an additional M.2 slot support (2 vs. 1)
- Killer ethernet+Intel erhernet (instead of just Intel)
- 3-way Crossfire support (instead of 2-way)
- 12 power phases (instead of 8)

so the Gaming 6 is the better board and I don't find the GA BIOS too bad
however if it's worth spending extra cash for those features....that's up to you. probably isn't.
on the other hand you sometimes have to pay the extra ASUS-fee at some retailers while GA provides good value mostly

I thought the same thing, pay $ 20 extra for the qualities that gives the z170x.
