Who is using the rme raydat and asus p8z68 v-pro gen 3

I am wondering what pcie slot you would be using for the raydat for optimal performance with the asus p8z68 v-pro gen 3?

The reason I ask is, would there be a difference in performance using the 2nd pcie slot? I have the noctua nh-d14 on my cpu and im not sure if i can fit the raydat in the first slot.
