Who was it that said they wanted to hold off on getting Dominions 2 when
they heard that Dominions 3 was about to be released?

It wasn't me, but I have to say it fits me. While I had said in the past
that I was going to check the game out, I never did, and recently
(finally) was thinking of trying the demo out.. But now that
Dom3 is coming I figure I'll wait too. Why do you want to
know who said it anyhow? Is there going to be a special deal
on Dom2 soon?

I wouldn't have purchased Dominions 2 had I known that Dominions 3 would
follow so closely. I feel somewhat ripped off. Does that count?

Well I think you will still end up getting more use out of it than most
other games of the same price between now and then. :)

No Im looking for someone that was interested in Dominons but hasnt played
it yet

I suggested that Shrapnel start selling Dom 2 at a lower price now that
we are getting near Dom 3.

I am interested in playing but not at the full price. The list is $49
though there is an ebay seller NWS Online who sells at $35.95.

Kindof. Well actually its gone on sale a number of times at shrapnels web
site but I have a seperate reason for asking. Let me take a stab at

No its only available thru online sites. More and more games are headed
that way since the marketing model which made "bargan bins" happen is no
longer possible between chains and publishers

But it does go on sale once in a while.

Maybe they took your hint. :)
They have been putting it on sale fairly regularly since they announced
Dom3.

In any case, I pay more than that now for games that last about a month on
my machine. Im fairly sure Dom3 isnt coming that fast.

I was told the other day by one of their staff that they didn't think they
would be doing any conventions this year.

May have been me. I lurk here mostly, and asked around if Dominions was
available via direct download (I was looking for a game that would hold me
for a couple of weeks as I was having surgery and would be out of work).
Someone else mentioned that Dom 3 was coming out soon, and that it may not
be worth it to spend the money on Dom 2, and it wasn't direct download. If
you search you may find it, but I've bought a new computer since then and
changed the name and email.
