Who short-strokes their HDD's? What are your results?

I'm asking because I'm not yet able to invest in an SSD so I short stroked my 1TB HDD and so far the result has been great. I short stroked about 460GB of it and left the rest unallocated.

What about you, do you short stroke?

Yes i do and it helps me in increasing loading times in games like battlefield 4 and even increase speed of my winodws boot time

SAMSUNG HD502IJ i used software called HDTune to measure speed of my hard drive and it turns out that it is fastest in first 100GB later it becomes slower so i short-stroke it to 100gb and i use that partition for system,page file and battlefield 4
