OK .. per title.. who out there is using the slowest Win 7 PC?
I picked up my mothers PC and went to update it.. Windows update was taking SO LONG I thought it was bugged (over 2 hours.. I ended up leaving it overnight). its CPU was locked at 100% for the whole time (I think).
It has a AMD Athlon X64 3800+ (the single core version... not the X2)
Its at 2.4GHz.. and Win 7 says min CPU is 1GHz!!!
But the PC has nothing on it really (MS security essential.. no full AV for example).. but was SO SLOW!!!! (but I am used to my i7 5820 @ 4.2Ghz and 32GB mem and SSDs)
So.. as a fun questions.. who is using a slower PC.. with Win 7.... for regular/general use? what are specs and what you using it for and how slow is it?
