whoch is the best choice

Should I get a i7-4790k or an i5 processor...... I only use it for gaming and for Autodesk and photoshop........ Which would u prefer......

i vote i7. just upgraded my i5-4690k to an i7-4790k last week. really liking the performance increase. my purpose is mostly gaming, but it really helped fallout 4. the i7 should make a pretty major difference in autodesk and photoshop. not so much gaming.

Since you have other uses for it than just gaming, the Hyper-Threaded i7 would be the better choice.

"Only" gaming and Autodesk ? Save for a server, those are tasks that ask for more HW than most anything else.
