Hi
I transported my PC to a lan party in a car. When i got there i plugged everything in but the screen wouldn't get a signal. I turned off the PC and tried again, this time it turned on but everything was red, even the bios was flicking red.
I thought that one of my cards must have died so I removed it and plugged my DVI cable to my other GTX 970. It turned on fine.
I thought I'd try the removed card in the working PCI slot to see if the card or mobo is broken. When I turned on the PC it worked fine. So the other slot is faulty. To make sure I tried a single GPU in the faulty slot to see if it was vecause of the SLI. Nope, all was red again.
So I gave up and moved the card back to the lower slot but now it has a same problem too! Everything is red. So neither of my cards work in either slot now.
I tried clearing the CMOS, no effect. Anything else I could try?
