Hi,
So this was occurring on my OLD build, (same GPU), but after a fresh install of Windows 7 that went away for a bout a month, where I then upgraded to the below. Had this 2 months but has started happening on my NEW build. I have rolled back drivers yesterday but has happened again today.
It is occurring when I have Chrome (2-3 tabs) open, Apex Legends and then trying to open a Video file in the Windows 10 Photos app, by double clicking. It usually freezes when the video has loaded and ready to play, the mouse will still move on the screen but it appears to not respond to anything. Has never froze any other time, always when within the Windows 10 Photo app
I have:
Type Item
CPU AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard MSI - B450 Gaming Plus ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Video Card Asus - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB Dual Video Card
Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit
Monitor LG - 29UM69G-B 29.0" 2560x1080 75 Hz Monitor
I think my PSU is 500w, likely low end too
Is this a GPU issue? Temps I dont believe are getting too high... not sure what it could be
Any help would be appreciated !
