Whuch GTX 770 to buy ?

MSI GeForce GTX 770 TwinFrozr
ASUS GeForce GTX 770
Zotac Gtx 770

Which one to buy...all provide 3 yr warrenty except zotac which provide 5 yr warrenty ...but no so a goo brand product..

I want card to play game in 1080p atleast for 7-10 year with out any fault or change in the card...So i need a robust card and i won't OC it as it may hamper the card life...So i need a cool ,long lasting ,robust card with normal gtx 770 performacce...Help me choose one

My system
i7 3770
Two 2 tb hdd and one 500 gb hdd +DVD RW
7 case fan
2 Corsair 4 gb Vengence ram
1080p Samsung Monitor
850 w Seasonic PSU

Honestly you wont get 7-10 out of a card technology changes so much it's not even funny I would day you could push for 4-6 but most gamers go through a video card every 3-4 on the average. My choice if you don't plan on a custom liquid cooling loop snatch the MSI TwinFrozr since it has a better cooling option than the reference designs.

However you could make that system last 7-10 years with a little upgrading like maybe in 4 years you can snatch another 770 and increase your RAM then I would say it's realistic to make is several years. Hope that helps make your decision buddy happy gaming!

Either is fine I only chose MSI cause it had the aftermarket cooler on it I didnt realize the Asus you chose had the Direct CU II otherwise I would have gone with either. I do prefer Asus but MSI is also a well known and trusted brand too so it's no big deal just don't get the Zotac one!

How good are the reference cards...i find a reference card made by zotac and galaxy of gtx 780 ...which is cheaper than other 780...Are the reference card good and last longer

If you don't plan to but an aftermarket cooler i.e. the Arctic Accelero or a custom liquid cooling loop (expensive as heck) I recommend the MSI or the Asus with their coolers already built on to them which work great. Stock coolers from reference cards don't really get the job done that well. Cooler is always better and for myself I had stock coolers on my non-reference EVGA GTX 670 FTWs so I decided to finally settle on the Arctic Accelero Twin Turbos for better cooling. I would recommend if you're not liquid cooling your video cards then get something with a cooler on it.

I would agree but Asus and MSI are still great brands also and may have a price the OP may prefer so I try not to go with favoritism. As for the OP, mitu1234 you could also consider an EVGA GTX 770 w/ their ACX Cooler. The Direct CU II, Twin Frozr or ACX Cooler are good IMO. Otherwise you need an aftermarket cooler that fits the video card and that can be a pain in the butt! Trust me I know I got non-reference 670s which have the same PCB of the 680s and a stacked power connector which left me with clearance issues for the Arctic Accelero Extreme! 🙁 Wanted that one bad! Oh well I got what I got so there it is lol Twin Turbos for me.

Why i have heard cards lasting ore than 10 year...and Asus and MSI mention that their component can last up to 20year

I'd go the Asus, the CU cooling design is maybe the best out there, as second choice would look at the EVGA cards, though keep in mind they bin the GPU chips so whichever you look at may not have much more OC headroom, i.e. a lower priced card with the lower pre-OC may well not OC to or above their next highest Pre_OC clock

Just because companies boast that a video card can last that long does not mean that they will perform the same over that period of time. As new games get created they are catered to the latest hardware on the market i.e. not yours. So in 10 years if they have a GTX 2000 and you still have a GTX Titan for example even the low end future card might perform better than that Titan 10 years from now. With technology moving as fast as it is we have no idea what are video games will be like at all. It's impossible to future proof your hardware.

You can only future proof yourself. For example getting a mobo with a little extra in case you decide (2-3 years) later that you do want that second video card in SLI/Crossfire. Or those extra RAM slots populated for some extra performance as it falls behind new age equipment. The average computer gets replaced entirely in roughly 6-7 years anyhow. So why would you even hold onto a video card any longer than that if it'll be time to replace pretty much everything else. The video card becoming the most obsolete the fastest in any PC. Anyhow I wish you the best with your adventure.
