Why A7V supports 133 FSB?

Why does the A7V support a FSB of 133Mhz(and all other like 103 107 109 113 etc.) if the Athlon only supports a 100Mhz max FSB. I don't get it.

Is anybody here running his Athlon at a higher than 100Mhz FSB, not the new modified for DDR Athlon.

I run my 1.2Ghz Tbird at 12 x 100, could I run it at 9 x 133

There is a speed increase from running on higher fsb and yes you can run higher also but if you have the a7v and not the a7v133 you will not be able to run at 133 for more info check out some KT133A reviews and over clocking AMD socket a cpu's on THG main page CPU Guide. The new athlons with 133 fsb support are not yet available in the retail chanel.

But WHY put a dip switch for the FSB on the normal A7V if you can't go higher than 100Mhz, it's not logical. I have the A7v with KT133 only.

Well some things i do not know but the kt133 chipset normaly maxes out at 112 to 115 fsb a limitation of the chipset itself.
