Question Why after I installed new ram that doesnt work, after reinstalling old ram, it doesn't work either.

i got 2 8gb sticks of ram that fit the mhz of my computer (but i dont know if my computer can fit 16gb becuase i cant run memcheck because it wont boot)
it gave the classic bios beeps of 1 long 1 long. i have a foxconn motherboard, and that is a memory error. because it didnt work, i cut my losses and reinstalled the 2 old 2gb sticks. they didnt work either

i tried literally everything, even installing the ramsticks in the wrong directions in literally every orientation for both sticks. that didn't work either
i cleaned the ram sticks (both kinds and both of each) and tried what i just said and still, it didnt work. i tried pushing down on the sticks (both kinds) while it boots up and it doesn't work.

please, i literally have no clue why this happened or what i can do to stop it.

ok i did it and all the steps and its still happening. fml
