Why all videos turn green?

Hey there

My videos turn green. Looks like something in IE crashes and then when I start video, I hear audio but the video is green. It gets normal when computer restarted. Any way to fix it without restarting? Thank you.

i think it has more to do with your video driver.i would make sure to have the latest one installed.if you have updated your driver and this was a result, then roll it back to the previous driver.i had the same problem with my old amd card.it helped to disable hardware acceleration, and the problem went away after my psu blew and i replaced it.might want to look in that direction as well.

I have Asus AMD 7870 video card. What driver would I update? I have latest Catalyst- unless I install Beta version, it does not get any better.

I was looking in to the Flash player. The Flash in Internet Explorer is prebuilt in Windows 8. There is no way to update it. My IE is crashing and reopens the page- usually happens with Facebook open (my guess- it happens because Facebook has all these stupid videos auto play- lots of opportunities to crash.

I remember posting about it on Microsoft web site, and I was told to disable Active X filtering, which resolved issue where videos and audio would simply not show up on the page- they were filtered. But I can not remember what they said about videos turning green. This is frustrating. It has been going on for a year- from the time I built this computer.

How do I disable hardware acceleration?

Thank you.

Right click the video>Settings>Far left tab>uncheck the box.

no you have to have a flash video running and then right click in the middle of the screen and a menu box will come up.click on settings and then uncheck the box for hardware acceleration.the video has to have started playing and if a right click doesnt bring up the menu box keep trying.

It is the last tab on the left "Display".

I went to flash player site and there was update for IE, so I installed it and I had to restart computer so now the video is playing. But it always does first couple of hours, till it crashes, so I can not tell if update helped or not.

It is much harder to open Box with right click when video is playing, but when it happens- it opens the same box in settings. What you mean by "last tab on the left"? You mean first tab on the laft? It is "Privacy". There only 4 tabs in the small box. No hardware acceleration.
