Why am i constantly losing disk space?

My windows keeps saying im missing drivers and tells me it fails to install. Ive uninstalled over 60 gigs of stuff. Within one day it said it was full again. ive turned off back ups for that drive and deleted all the previous saves, yet i still am losing space. It's only affecting my C drive which has my windows on it. Anyone have any fixs?

This is almost always caused by system restore.

Control panel -> system -> system protection -> configure

System restore defaults to using up to 50% of the disk on many systems. Under disk space usage, move the slider down to a more sane value like 10 GB.
