I recently bought a 3440x1440p 144hz widescreen monitor, so I've been playing around trying to find the best settings at 1440p in call of duty black ops cold war. I have a decent computer, but at medium settings I was getting 60fps on average. So I bumped my settings up to high just to see what would happen. On high I was getting about 80-85fps. I didn't lower anything or turn off v-sync or anything like that, so I'm very confused why I'm getting drastically better frames on higher settings.
