Question Why am I getting low FPS on Minecraft, even though I have a decent laptop?

These are the specs of my laptop: Intel i7 9750h, 12gb Ram, Intel Geforce GTX 1650.
I get around 20-30 FPS and even when I switch to low video settings it will barely go up to around 40. I added java and minecraft to the nvidia control panel thing, but there was no change. I really enjoy playing minecraft, but it's hard to play with bad fps, please help :]

Monitor gpu usage while in game, is it using the igpu instead of the 1650? What resolution are you using?

This is what my GPU usage looks like. I don't know about it using the igpu or the 1650 and I don't think there is a resolution that you can change on minecraft from what I was looking for, maybe I'm being oblivious?

On my nvidia control panel for the minecraft program it is using " Use global setting (Auto-select: NVIDIA GPU)
