[SOLVED] Why am I getting such low frame rates?

Specs: (haven't overclocked on anything )
Cpu: i5 2500k @ 3.3 Ghz
Gpu: Gtx 1060 3gb
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M LE
Ram: 8gb DDR3 (2x4) @1333 Mhz
Psu: Corsair CX 750 M


So, while playing games like overwatch at all low/off settings 100% render scale and 1080p, I've been getting 60 frames while idle, and 40 frames (sometimes 20) while in team fights, but if I'm in a call on skype or discord I get 50 frames idle and 18-30 frames while in team fights. Is this normal or is there anything I can get to improve my pc?

You can double your ram, overclock your cpu, use msi afterburner to overclock your gpu, and turn your windows power setting to high performance.

RAM and GPU are fine,the CPU needs some overclocking,it's pretty old.
