Why am I having trouble

I have 2 laptops one is running Windows 10 the other is Windows 7 all of my burning programs work fine on Windows 7 they do work in Windows 10. My problem is the disc will not eject after burn same with when I take a file straight from the computer to disk same thing will not eject disc after burn using Windows 10

One bit of advice i read was uninstall the drivers and let windows reinstall them

You can eject them using file explorer. right click drive in list and select eject... not sure which smart person put it right next to format so be careful.
