Why am i still lagging?

Here are my Specs.
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

HDD: Western Digital WD Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

12 gigs of Ram.

i just upgraded motherboard and cpu from a quad. And reformatted my computer. I installed Dragon Age Inquisition and a couple other games and i feel like my computer is running slower and on lower settings. It cant even handle WOW on ultra.... I feel like something is wrong. Oh and i also checked drivers. i have latest....

Also i have a 650 watt power supply.

Your gpu is starting to show it's age, especially regarding Dragon age inquisition.

those temps are normal.

are you saying that there is a performance decrease after upgrading yout rig?

try monitoring your cpu and gpu usage using msi afterburner or something

And have you tried unparking your cores?

So i unparked my cores and things sto be running way better. But my cpu temps are shooting up to 55C regularly is this safe?

yes.. you just started using more power so more heat is expected and normal. dont worry
