Why am I unable to establish internet connection with my Xfinity wireless modem to either my laptop or my iPad?

My iPad at one time did connect automatically to my wireless internet but it disconnected and now I cannot connect. Same goes for our laptop, I have tried everything I can think of. I asked my nephew if restoring my laptop would help and he told me never to that. I am at a lost. I had my wireless service out to look at my router/modem where they rebooted it and they said that it was working just fine. My laptop is a year old. Other laptops and cells connect to the wireless except my personal laptop and iPad. It has internet strength and when it tries to connect it comes back with "unable to establish connection" Please help!!!

Go into the wifi listing and set the your connection to "forget". I'm guessing you had the password saved and it changed at some point. After you delete he connection, try to re-connect.
