For a while now pretty much every game i play crashes. Some games i can play for hours and maybe it'll crash but other games not even 10 minutes in it'll crash. I have done pretty much every type of troubleshooting that someone with little knowledge on computers can do. I've reinstalled games & drivers, capped FPS, lowered game settings as low as I can get them, updated every piece of software I can think of (BIOS, GPU drivers, games themselves, windows), I have even completely reinstalled windows but nothing seems to fix it. On top of this I've been getting blue screens frequently. I'm beginning to suspect its a hardware issue (most likely CPU) but as I said I know little about computers. Is there anyway I can definitely pin this on a hardware issue so that i can look to replace it or fix it in any way?
Computer Specs:
Motherboard- Asrock B450M pro4
GPU- XFX RX 580 8GB
CPU- Ryzen 7 1700
Power supply- Thermaltake Lite Power 550W

Solution
I tested my ram using memtest86 and it read 109 errors in the first pass, i ended it there and proceeded to test each ram stick individually one pass each there were no errors. I then tested them in dual channel switching between A1 B1 and A2 B2 no errors. I then put all of the ram sticks in again but in a different order than originally tested and there were no errors on 1 pass. I don't know if maybe i should do more passes or if its possible that just readjusting my ram fixed the issue. I do however plan on getting a better PSU
Reseating RAM could have fixed your issue. How about gaming any crashes?

With crashes do you mean it crashes to the desktop? Run memtest86 to check for memory errors. Your powersupply cloud be the issue since it is a low guality/wattage unit. If you are using dual channel try to run games with one stick unless you have 8gb sticks it may not be possible. How about gpu/cpu temps? what are your cpu/gpu clocks while gaming?
