Why are Brown switches better for "MMO"?

Hello everyone. So I'm thinking about buying a new corsair keyboard and know I have the option from Red and Brown switches.
I've got the normal K95 with red switches. Thinking about getting the Strafe or K95 RGB.

I mainly play MMO and some MOBA but I also play games like Warframe all the way to Fallout or Dark souls. But I don't just game with this pc I do lots of typing and work in game engines and software.

I've noticed a lot of typo's with this keyboard but before I got a mechanical keyboard I also ahd some typos too, so idk if it is because of red switches or human error.

TL : DR- Why brown for MMO, I read up on them I know the difference between the colored switches but WHY do those differences matter for "those games, or uses"?

It is all personal preference. If I was you I would go to your local computer store and try a keyboard with brown switches side by side with a keyboard with red. You will find out what you prefer. Personally I prefer browns but I know some people who like reds.

Don't buy reds or browns just because people say they are better in certain games. There are certain games I would rather use a dome keyboard than a mechanical, but it doesn't mean that applies to everyone.

It does depend. Reds are great for rapid button presses as they have the lowest actuation force required. Browns have a sort of pressure feel to them while reds are very smooth . I use reds but I do almost all kind of gaming (MMO, FPS, RTS, MOBA, Puzzel, RPG etc).

You need to try each to find what works for you. ALl I know is that I cannot go back to dome style after using a mechanical keyboard.

Sadly I am unaware of any hardware/computer store near me, as nothing is in walking distance and I don't have a vehicle to drive a few hours to a city.
I don't have to many problems with red besides often typos or just wrong button pressed.
So there isn't a Brown is good for X reason. But more so Brown is preferred for X reason?

Hmm, just out of curiosity if I do get the Browns and don't like them is it allowed in warranty to return or replace for the red?
Or does that depend on Corsair and Newegg?

I guess it really depends on what they consider a "replacement".
I believe corsair would swap out the keyboards.
Now to go with the K95 even though I never figured out how to even use the 18 macro keys in the few years I've had the keyboard. Or go with that very nice looking Strafe keyboard.

I'll probably go with the Browns and if I don't like them go back to the reds. I don't have a way to physically check the keyboards. But I know that if Browns reduce typo and wrong button presses I'll be happy. I do like the sound of the clicks and stuff but it isn't something I'd compromise performance for.
