Why are corsair cpu liquid coolers so expensive?

Lets say the corsair uses a 240mm radiator which cost $100 more over another 240mm liquid cooler does it gives better temperatures? I see a lot of high end pc builders using corsair coolers. I want to know if it is worth to add another $100 for the corsair cooler? I want to overclock my 8700k.

Thank you for taking your time to read and have a great day ahead!

corsair does not make/develop CLC AiOs. they simply order them from asetek http://www.asetek.com/desktop/do-it-yourself/
all the differences between the coolers on that page are fans and aesthetics.
not that long ago, corsair was ordering some of their models from id cooling.
the difference between the id cooling and asetek are next to none in terms of performance.
anyway, any good air cooler will keep the CPU at the same or lower them at lower noise than a 240 AIO. and good air coolers are much cheaper and indefinitely more reliable. Simply put, AiOs are wannabe liquid cooler shinny toys that are selling only due to marketing (peoples ignorance). IRL there are very few niche use cases for the AiOs. otherwise its air or true custom loop.
