Why are descriptions of dimensions always so stupid to me.

Well I always hear people talk about what a 4th dimension would look like and explain the 2nd dimension and it all sounds like BS to me and pseudo science or even worse than that really.

The description of the 2nd dimension like they did on Futurama and like many people say would look like is stupid because it in fact is still 3d but just flatter. For instance they claim when you look forward you would see a line segment because you are looking at say someones flat side.
But I think this is wrong because to see anything that means it would have to be a certain amount of thickness which in fact makes it 3d again.
Also the description of 4d that people say means you can see through things just based on false imaginary 2d explanations is just stupid. The logic futurama did was basically oh if you have a chicken in an egg there is no outside shell on the front because it would require something to be behind something which would then make it in another plane. So then they say that is basically proof that a 4d entity could see through a 3d object. But once again it's stupid. The so called 2d characters wear clothes and glasses which is an object in front of another objects which is their body or their eyes. So it's previous example is retarded considering that.

By my guess there isn't any such thing as a 1d or 2d world. And trying to explain them is just some idiot trying to sound smart like some fools I have heard think they can imagine the 10th dimension and just keep going. Think they can imagine 0 dimensions and -2 dimension. Just idiots with too much time.

Anyway basically what I am saying is that descriptions of the 2d world are stupid and no such thing as the 2d world exists. It's all based of things like cartoons and imagination and same goes with a 4d world. Why assume 4d exists. Oh we are 3d so surely a 4th dimension exist. lol
Thats about as stupid as saying oh time goes forward so it must go backward and hey I can imagine it going upward. lol. Seems all foolish to me. Oh and I know that time is sometimes called the 4th dimension but that isn't what I am talking about here. I am just referencing the idiots who come up with these ideas who probably don't even know that time itself is the 4th dimension since they never did any science and just based their things off stuff like futurama or youtube videos.

What do you guys think. Every time I make something on here everyone disagrees with me and agrees with what I am arguing about. Maybe because there is a bit of obnoxious tone in how I write and they don't want to agree.

Every time I hear someone claim that something is 2d in our world I just face palm. Nothing in our world is 2d. Not a picture on a piece of paper nor a cartoon is 2d but actually 3d in the physical world.
2d cartoons or games are 2d in talking about an artificial environment. Such as for instance in a 3d game you can move forward into the picture instead of just left and right and up and down. But the key world here is artificial environment. I feel that sometimes it's just like talking to brick walls though.

We live in a 10 dimension world ... didn't anyone do physics?

I can do 5 dimensions with pipe cleaners - albeit the 10th dimension is displayed being twirled around the 3rd dimension as an example of compactification ... the 4th by simply watching the pipe cleaners sit there over time.

To explain the 5th through 9th dimensions I need somoene else to explain it to me again ... my HDD has corrupted sectors

I am baffled what you are posting here.

My only problems with dimensions is how they're described in the UK, mainly by the radio and TV broadcaster, the BBC.

Everything in length and height is measured in football pitches and double decker buses and for volume, olympic swimming pools. None of those tell me anything but I could cope with yards and feet.

Just tell me how big it is.

hmm... if you drink fast, remember not to finish the bottle of wine if the french guy wants some more or there will be an argument.
