Question Why are ME (Intel Management Engine) event Q-Codes normal behavior and not errors?

I am basing my question to this older thread:

Here it's said that an Asus representative said that on that particular board the Q-Code 22 (22 Progress ME event for Node Manager) is not an error. They say that the motherboard will end up to a different Q-Code depending on BIOS and ME (Management Engine) configuration.

It might be the case, but I don't understand why they designed the board this way, rather than having a clear "EVERYTHING IS OK!" indicator.

What does "Progress ME event for Node Manager" mean anyways?

Intel ME = Intel Management Engine
I think Node manager is related to power management. I am just guessing though - https://www.intel.com/content/dam/w...elligent-power-node-manager-specification.pdf

Some BIOS have codes they display just to show it got to final step okay.
Possibly, but it causes a lot of confusion now, because it's not documented in the manual that a range of Q-Codes are "normal outputs" and signal nothing bad.

POSSIBLY, the range of Q-Codes in question are in fact equivalent as outputs, but maybe the board may end up to different ones of them and therefore they offer the board different ways to reach an "OK state".
