Question Why are most Amd motherboards sold out

When I look on Newegg or Amazon almost all the recent amd chipset boards are sold out. I sthis permanent or ontly till coronavirus is over?

I bought my MSI B450M from Amazon a week ago it was on back order till may 12 I just got an update it will be here by Wednesday and if you go look for same one it says none available
