Question Why are my games crashing?

Drivers are updated... few examples: siege- freezes at preparation phase going to menu. Overwatch- “rendering device has been lost”

for any real hope of an answer you will need to post the system specs and any specific behaviors exhibited with as much detail as you can. including any error numbers that may have been shown.

GPU: GeForce 1660
MOTHERBOARD: ROG Strix b450-f gaming
SSD: Kingston 250GB
PSU: Corsair 650W
Everything else is fine and functions good, but once I try to play any games, they usually freeze at the menu then about 10-20 seconds later, they crash

which corsair PSU?
I would try a few benchmarking suites and test the GPU as its the likely issue. see if any stress on the GPU causes the crash

try stressing the card in linux. boot to a USB drive with linux
Boot to a USB drive with linux on it. grab a USB drive, a copy of rufus and a linux distribution.
http://distrowatch.com/ has tons of differing linux distributions and download links. I personally am fond of linux mint with cinnamon.
https://rufus.ie/ the utility used to extract the ISO file to the USB drive.

use rufus to extract the selected ISO to the thumb drive. it will make the drive bootable and you can run linux from the drive once done.
Reboot into linux and proceed to test the hardware. connect to internet, watch many youtube videos at once in tabs, await problems.
if linux is good and stable the issue is most likely inside windows or otherwise software related.
this is a test of the hardware.
