Question Why are my games crashing?

My games keep crashing! CPU temps were running high with my old cooler, so I thought that may be it (running 95C). So I got a new cooler. Now temps are in the 70s on stress/gaming. Then I upgraded my RAM, still crashing.

Example would be that I play 2-3 games of Halo Infinite, and then it will crash mid game. There is occasional stuttering beforehand, but nothing crazy. Same happens in Destiny 2 and Kerbal.

Is it my CPU? Is it my GPU? My computer is very clean, not a lot of dust.

GTX 1080
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 2x16gb 3600mhz
PSU 80+ gold
Sandisk SSD
Samsung m.2

It is a Rosewill 650 fully modular gold PSU. And the SSD is not near being full.

If overclocking the cpu set it back to stock.....test.
If using xmp turn it off....test.
How hot is the gpu getting while gaming?

I have never overclocked anything. And my GPU doesn’t get above 75.
