So my pc cable is rated at 13A and my power strip is rated at 13A as well. I looked online and apparently the total amount of plugs combined plugged into the strip amperage shouldn't exceed that of the power strip.
But doesn't that mean I can only plug my pc cable in since it's already at 13A? I thought the pc only need a few Amps anyway...can someone explain :)
Cheers

Hi
PC power supplies use standard cables and can be rated at 13A,that is simply the maximum current that the cable can support.
Your PC will take much less than that,on 250V a 500W power supply will draw 2A if the power supply is maxed out,in normal usage it will draw around 1 to 1.5 A.
