So im just curious here.. I bought a used 6900xt with a waterblock for $600 5 days ago. great price.. 3x faster than my 1080ti i had for 5+ years.. NOW that being said at 1440p thee 1080ti was still a great card for what it was.. turn some settings down a tad in a few games and it was easily playable still at 60-90fps.. games varying of course.. at 1080p i imagine its still a beast..

But that being said.. its about equivalent to a 6600xt today which sells for $220 used and 300$ new. A 6700xt is much faster but they are still selling for $400 new. I know some people just dont have $400 or 500$.. I just sold my 1080ti for $250 on ebay.. it sold in less than 24 hrs, i was shocked actually.... So why are people buying thesee cards for 250-300$ when you can get a better video card for the same price. ? Or is a 1080ti actually better than a 6600xt ?

I mean i guess a 1080ti is better than a 6600xt.. 8gb of memory vs 11gb,, there were a lot of games ive tested that used well over 9-10gb easily on my 1080ti.. So i can see that being a hinderance for a 6600xt.. So i guess price for price a 1080ti is better.

Ah yea, well mine was watercooled always at 45c, no dust, etc.. But i guess im the exception.. The guy who bought my card though wants me to put the stock 3 fan heatsink back on.. which is fine ill just sell the waterblock now. The only thing that has me worried is he said he is new to this, and is upgrading a Nvidia Quadro K2200 lol.. wow thats a old card from 2013 i think... And its PCI-E 2.0, so i dunno if this guy has a proper power supply for this 1080ti, as it needs 2 6pin connectors, and its PCI-E 3.0.. dunno if whatever motherboard he has will even support this card or not..
