[SOLVED] Why are there so many major computer hardware company comes from u.s.a and Taiwan?

Hi, I don't know if this is true or not.
But, i always found a computer part with u.s.a or Taiwan brand.
i'm very curious about that about this.
why are many company comes from USA or Taiwan?
Do they a major silicon exporter country?

A Brand can have main office and be registered anywhere but have their production elsewhere. Most high tech stuff was invented and developed in USA as highest economy after WWII, Japan was first of other countries to jump in so most today's brands still reside there although practically all are international.
Taiwan was one of first countries to offer cheap labor and low taxes so production went there at first, Singapore was next followed by N.Korea and now China. In mean time Europe...
