Steam is totally clogged up we can't get through.

Enjoyed YA Doom 3 but I'm hoping HL2 is far better.

Graphics in HL2 are jaw droping amazing, but at this point Marine feels more
like home than Gordon. Only time will tell.

Half-life 2 requires that Steam thing and I don't.

Doom 3 runs on my system at just about acceptable rate (~25fps) at
medium quality, 800x600.

Half Life 2 (well the CS:S benchmark) runs at 1024x768 with all the
settings maxed out (6xAA, 16xAF?, everything on high) at >90FPS

Doom 3 is a good game but bloatware of the very worst kind.

I can't afford it yet. All these expensive (yet fantabulous!) games
really put a scorching hole in my already threadbare pockets.

Later this week, though. Later this week.
