Why are you using Win8/8.1 instead of 7 or 10?

I've just installed it after a long while and it's been a peach so far, there's the Win10 Upgrade Icon on the taskbar but I don't intend to upgrade anytime soon.
I guess I simply like Win8.1 a little better than Win10 and 7 because it works well and it's got character, and it's colorful in the broader sense of the word, something Windows 10 at least is missing.

I think your the 1 percent of the 1 percent that actually does like windows 8 better than windows 10. Which is perfectly fine if you like it.

I personally liked windows 8 over windows 7 for some of the performance benefits, but now that windows 10 is better I like that way better.

I've installed Win10 as well in the recent past so I've tested the three OS's and I haven't noticed a significant difference in performance between the three. So I decided(for now) to have the more characterful and colorful choice(in my opinion).
