Question Why aren't OLED monitors under 27" available on the market yet ?

I hope I can get a broad explanation for my question.
There are laptops up to 17" that have OLED & monitors that are only above 27". Why isn't there a in between option for consumers yet? Especially in having these options coming with a resolution of 1080p or 1440p.

OLED manufacturing costs have decreased by a lot, but not by that much. So I don't think you'll ever see a 1080p monitor. Someone somewhere is keeping track of the volume of sales for each monitor size; you might be able to google it and find reliable statistics. But in the end everything is based on demand, and costs to meet that demand, and profits to meet that demand. And there probably isn't enough demand and low enough costs and high enough profits for other sizes.

I assumed it was to supply and demand at first. I'll check on those stats, that was gonna be my other manner to find out about OLED display data. Kinda was inspired to do that before asking because I remember Famiboards' users were trying to look for Switch 2 product data.

But would it be difficult for manufacturers to develop such a product at that resolution and size range?

They could develop any product that they want. The issues are: is there a market for that product; is there a profit to be made from that product that's better than the alternative. It gets more difficult when the manufacturer only builds a small part of a larger product, like just the screen for a Switch. Then they have to deal with other companies down the supply chain to sell their product and hope that it can be combined with other companies products to produce the end result product. Its easier if the end product maker just brings its requirements and specs to the initial part maker. But the whole thing, screen, supporting electronics, other parts, end product, marketing, etc. is an incredibly complex process with lots of issues and possibilities that one part could go wrong. We take a lot for granted without knowing what may have gone wrong in the past.
