[SOLVED] Why can I hear myself through my headset along with a static hissing noise?

I recently got a Yamaha MG10XU mixer, which I am using for my audio input. I have a SteelSeries Arctis 7 headset that I've used for the past 6 months or so and I've never hit a snag until now. Since I hooked up my mixer I've heard my microphone output through my headset along with a hissing/distorted noise. I have no clue where to start on a fix.

Sidetone might be on somewhere somehow.

I figured it out. For some reason my Realtek Mic Line had Listen to this Device checked on. So I just turned it off and so far the problem seems fixed. Thanks for your reply though!
