[SOLVED] Why can I run RE8 at max graphic settings (no RT) between 70 and 150 FPS but LoL between 70 and 220 FPS?

Playing Resident Evil Village at graphic settings from the preset "Max", is no big deal. I already finished the game and I can say it ran better than I expected to be.

On the other hand, when am playing League of Legends at the maximum possible, I can get 240+ FPS on the spawn base, goes down to 180-ish FPS when in laning phase, and it reaches around 120 to 70 FPS when in 5v5 team fights.

Since LoL can run on pretty much every PC with the right settings AND it's supposed to be less heavy on graphics than RE8, why is this happening? Since my processor has no iGPU, the possibility of having the game not running with the GPU is out of question.

My PC specifications are:
CPU - Ryzen 5 3500X
GPU - Sapphire's Radeon RX 6700XT
RAM - 2x8 GB, 3200 MHz
MotherBoard - Asus B550M-A

ram is not running at 3200, you will probably need to to enable XMP profile in the BIOS, you are running at 2132 for each stick--thus the lower memory benchmark

did you install the latest chipset drivers from AMD as well?

so anyway you need to set your RAM to work at 1600 in the bios, 1600*2=3200 since it's DDR, your cpu will perform better too.

i personally don't know how to tell you what you want to hear based on given data you have provided.

RE8 may be more optimized maybe?

Run userbenchmark and post your results here just to get a look at the overall system and other guru's can probably help from there.

post a shot of the spd tab on CPUz (one for each stick of RAM) and we can see what speed the memory is running at as well.

I'll refactor the description so it becomes more clear. I'm not at home, so I can't show CPUz nor benchmark right, I'll send here the results ASAP.

RE8 is GPU limited...the 3500x isn't holding it back.

LOL is an multiplayer game so the CPU is much more important especially in 5vs5 play. Your 3500x is holding back your game play and the 6700xt is likely waiting for the 3500x to finish processing. Monitor GPU load in 5vs5 play...I'm going to bet it's well below 100% while the 3500x is maxed out.

About the GPU waiting for the CPU, I can maybe relate it with the problem that when the game gets to 200 FPS + it starts stuttering...

I have the lastest drivers for everything, and I can't seem to find a way to raise the bandwith to 3200, I changed it in the BIOS, but it's taking no effect.

so you are saying you made the change, then saved the change, and rebooted? or did you forget to save the bios change?

Ok so the mode for me is D.O.C.P., my motherboard is an Asus B550M-A . Gonna add that to the spec list

you may have to manually set the parameters instead of using xmp if it's not working.

Did both ways, and nothing. The Windows task manager points 3200 though.
