Why can't I adjust the level of my hyperx cloud 2 mic?

I was playing a game minding my own business when one of my teammates said, "You mic doesn't work bro." So, I went to control panel > sound and what not, but when I tried to change the level of it, the dB just stayed at 0.0. I have been searching for an hour for a solution but nothing works. Please help me

The Cloud IIs USB sound card overrides the windows mic boost. When using the USB sound card all the adjustments have to be done through the card itself. If you just plug in the 3.5mm (through a splitter) then you can use the windows mic boost.

There isnt a fix, its a USB interface with a sound card. Mic Boost in windows is disabled.

Have you fixed it? I have the same problem and need help.

What i did is press - on the mini soundboard thingy until its muted
then check windows recording devices that its locked at 0 (cant change it) and they press + on the thingy like 20 times so its maxed out it helped me for louder microphone
