Why cant i date other girlfriends in grand theft auto san andreas?

Hello,
I'm trying to date others besides Denise but they are always not at home.. I currently "learning to fly" mission and I can't go date any other.. Any suggestions?

I can't remember well but I think atleast there are 5 girls CJ can date. Of course each one has a preference. Check CJ's stats according to each girl's preference. I remember a cop girl near the desert Los Venturas? She like fat guys that sort of. Others like that girl in San Fierro likes a high stat on driving.
