[SOLVED] Why Cant I Delete Certain Files From My SD Card

I have movies on my SD card inside my phone. I wanted to get rid of 2 movies that I've finished, but they just wont go away even though I am still able to delete the other movies.

How can I fix this

My phone is Motorolla Moto Z Play
My SD card is SanDisk 64GB SD Card

Have you tried removing the file through file manager on the phone and later verifying that the movies are missing when connecting the SD Card using a card reader?

Ive only tried connecting my phone to my laptop and checking the sd card through file explorer on windows. I couldnt check to see if the files were read only or not because both boxes were grayed off so I couldnt click on them. But I did try to delete them and they were gone when I looked through file explorer on windows but I could still open the file on my phone.

My laptop doesnt have a sd card slot but my brother's laptop does and he will be home later so I can borrow his and see if that helps

I have plugged my SD card into my brother's laptop and it worked! I can change the file attributes in there. I removed the read only attribute and I deleted it. Thanks a lot!
