Hey guys. I just registered here. I'm building a complete new system, and found the perfect mobo for me. However, I cannot find it on any online seller. Its not at newegg, tigerdirect, or even pricewatch.com. I found it at zipzoomfly.com, but it says that they are out of stock. I found it on another website and they said the status was in "preorder." I can't find any info from Gigabyte, but to the best of my knowledge, this mobo has been released several months back. Does anyone have ANY info on this mobo?

Btw, I'm talking about the GA-K8NXP-9 nForce4 Ultra, not the upper level Gigabyte with SLI (I'm not going to waste money on something I'll never use.)

Anyways, I appreciate all the help! Thanks

Stay away from Tigerdirect. Monarch Computer has the sli version in stock, but they don't even list the one you mentioned. I would continue checking there though.

Newegg doesn't list it either, and the one listed at zipzoomfly is $219. That sure is expensive.

What's so great about this board that makes it perfect for you?

Well, its perfect because I love Gigabyte. They make solid boards, and customer service is great thus far. The specs on it are exactly what I want. NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra chipset, 8x SATA, and just one 16x PCI-e are the main things I'm looking for. Mainly, I need an nForce4 (or even better, nForce4 ultra) chipset. Dual gigabite lan, etc etc. The only other board that has all that I want (in a reputable company) is the DFI Lanparty UT4. But the problem being, I have never used a DFI, I'm not big into tweaking or overclocking, so it seems like DFI wouldn't be a good choice with me. If not that one, I'm looking at the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum. But my friend has had a horrible time with MSI (sent him a blown mobo, it was returned, then was replaced with a refurbished mobo that didn't work. Awful customer service thus far.) And I've had a horrible time with MSI peripherals. So I'm pretty unsure where to turn. I love Asus, and I like the A8V-E Deluxe, but then again, I want to go with nForce, not VIA chipset. So I'm pretty confused where to turn for a good, solid, mobo that fits everything I need.

The non SLI nforce4 boards are slowly trickling out. If you cant wait, and can do with only 4 sata, and one giga-lan, a good choice would be http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-127-197&depa=0

I'm setting up a DFI UT ultra-d NF4 board in the coming days and will report how it goes.
