try adding a space between the characters?

I added a few and then noticed which one you had tried

I am not aware of such a restriction but I hadn't tried before.

How did you try to add them? Using the emoji button or just their characters?
It seems to me the :) in your sig should convert, so maybe there is a setting that stops them.
I did notice I can add them, but that might not mean a lot.

@CParsons is this a rule we should add for future reference?

I just put :) and it said I can't have any emojis in my signature
There is no Emoji button on the signature page.
I put : ) (a space between it) and it worked.. but I see some people with emojis in their signature...

So you don't have this choice?

I am trying to wave down a passing admin but they aren't looking at thread

Some things are tied into you answering questions and helping around forums before they open up, this might be one of them.

I haven't used this software without being a Mod. We swapped to this software 2 years ago and I already had the role. I will ask a few other users and see if they are missing it too.

I believe its tied to activity, if you stick around and answer questions and help others, and solve a few questions for people, the ability to add emoji to sigs will become available. I don't know exactly how many that is.

5 best answers and then the option should unlock.
