Why can't I run Metro Last Light?

My system:
CPU: AMD FX6300
GPU: MSI HD 7770
RAM: 8GB Kingston Beast

I have looked at the system requirements and I am just under the recommended but I can't get more than 10 FPS on low settings, can anybody help?

Which 7770 do you have? Temps? etc.

I don't have any issues with any other games, I can run BF4 at high settings at 60 FPS

you should be able to do better than low settings. You need to look at your cpu and gpu usage in game.
cpu-z and gpu-z will help you do that.

edit: also add your PSU to your spec

Yeah, I feel like that card should pull 15-25 FPS ish depending on how your cooling and such is, also depending if you OC or not etc.

My CPU is currently OC to 3.8Ghz but I've not done anything to the GPU, also thanks for the help

I have all blur etc off and everythings else on low but still 5-10 FPS 🙁 Ah also I found that PHYSX thing, I think that should help, thank you very much for your help!

Well, as Lee said, check your CPU and GPU temps and usage, there might be something going on there such as a bottleneck or any number of other things like bad paste.

Also, if all your hardware checks out, then you may want to see if re-installing the game works in your favor like Trave said.

After that I'd try to update all my drivers, and I'd grab some driver that are know to be good for the game, or even some official beta drivers.

Now you have them, you need to use them.
You should see your cpu jump up to full speed.

and then you should see your gpu usage at 99% (maybe 100%).

Also take note of memory usage.

This is the card that I have

Used to have the same card... it's basically a hunk of crap as far as newer games are concerned...That being said My r9 270 can barely stay stable at 40-60 fps in this game(on linux)
