Question Why can't I speed up my RAM?

So the problem I have is that I have bought 2 sets of Gddr4 3200 Corsair vengance lpx ramsticks. each stick 8gb.
And it's not running on full speed.

MB I have is MSI tomahawk 450 Max
CPU at the moment is Ryzen 5 1600 3.2ghz. It boosts up to 3.4 sometimes

I do go to BIOS and enable xmp and set profile to 2, where it should run 2999 to 3200.
But everytime I save changes it reboots itself 5 times. and it's back ti 2100.

Power supply is from Seasonic. and its 620W

GPU rtx 260 OC Asus Rog Strix <- if that changes anything
 
Did you buy two separate kits of 2 sticks each? Combining RAM kits, even if both are the same model, is not guaranteed to work.

1st Gen Ryzen could struggle to run RAM at 3200+ MHz even with two sticks. 4 would be even more difficult.

I am guessing one of the above is your issue. Do you have the latest BIOS?
 
There are no CPUs currently available that are officially rated to run 3200 MHz with 4 sticks. To do so is technically an overclock, which can be affected by the quality of the memory controller in your CPU, the motherboard/BIOS, and the RAM itself. Ryzen 3000 generally has better a stronger memory controller, but it's still not guaranteed to work. Especially because they were purchased as separate kits.
