Why can't I stream?

So I have a MSI GE72 Apache pro with a i7-5700HQ. When I try streaming using OBS studio I hit stream and when I play overwatch I drop to like 10 frames. But when I use nvidia shadow play to stream to twitch there's no frame drop it streams great. What could be the issue? Is it the CPU? I Hope I put this in the right thread.

theres a few settings u need to dial in
have u looked at the obs how-to?
it takes a few mins to do the settings.

I looked on their website and I know it said one of the things is to change the load to go to the graphics card instead of CPU but that didn't work. But yeah I have taken time to look at how to set it up
