Hy guys, sorry for my bad english, but I have a problem with my AMD A10 5800k APU. My system:
CPU: A10 5800k;
MOBO: Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2
VGA: Gigabyte windforce Eition Radeon R9 270 OC;

My problem is: If I enabling in BIOS the CPB, and stress testing the CPU, (and it's scaled up to 4,2 GHZ); my pc is crashing: black screen, and nothing else, not responding reset or even power button (not even I hold pressing it to shut down); If I want to restart my PC I need shut down PSU, and re enabling. I tried in BIOS to reset optimal defaults, same hapend. I tried adding + volts to CPU, but I don't wanna messing with it (+0,012 and same happened); If I disabling the CPB my PC is stable, and in game my CPU is 3,95ghz (3,80 to 3,95 not much impact for gaming i have to say); What can I do? I wanna use that damn Turbo, but how? I using stock cooler, and it's clear I Checked. I remember when PC was new, I disabled all turbo things, I used APU in stable 3,8ghz, cause this problem, but now I want that extra +400Ghz. Any thought?

my 990FXA=ud3 motherboard crashes my cpu also with CPB on. i do not know why it does that, for i cannot tell you. but i can help you overclock it better without Turbo. instead go in your bios and disable CPB. then scroll down and when you see "cool n quiet" disable that feature. Now go back to your main Frequency multiplier (remember leave CPB off) and change the multiplier to the frequency you want 4.2GHZ. Now if you want to overclock a little higher then make sure you change the Vcore volts also or it will become unstable and crash or not boot... Be very careful with overclocking to high, that will be your responsibilty. Now when you go to "task manager" you should see that your computer is stuck on the highest frenquency. You do not...

You do not want to have that on for 24 hours, so use it whenever you want by simply disaling cool and quiet. Want everything back to normal? enable it.
