I have the gigabyte geforce gtx 660 in my 1 week old rig, and at first I got a min of 150 fps, a max of 450 fps, and an avg of 250 fps, but now I get like 200 max, 90 min, and 115 avg. I haven't done anything to my rig. Any reasons why this is happening???
Here are the other PC specs: http://gyazo.com/0b6a6256cd45d129d69f42ec69a1d9fe

(P.S. I know my CPU sucks, I could have got the i3 and kept that for a year or two, or got the pentium and waited a few months until my bday and get an i5)

Solution
That does not affect your actual FPS, your monitor probably can go up to 60 FPS meaning that you are still getting the same frames, whatever the problem is, it isn't worth fixing cause it wont actually change anything.

Not to mention it is probably dropping from something in game, your FPS will drop A LOT if you are near any large build(non-generated) or any Redstone. Not to mention many other variables.

I played on the same world in the same spot as when I was getting a lot of fps. And I know you don't need more than 60fps, but wouldn't you be curious if your fps dropped that much? Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Well then lets figure it out.
1. Has there been an update since?
2. Do you run any applications at the same time as minecraft?
3. What version of Java so you have?
