[SOLVED] Why did my PSU come with a spliter PCI cable??

I am a first time builder and I am confused as to why there are two VGA bqb cables coming out. My power supply is an EVGA 500BQ. Idk how to add the picture but I attached this link with the picture.

Link doesnt work, need access. If you are trying to link a pic, just use imgur.

If you are talking about the PCIe power cables that split off into two 8pins that is used for cards that require two 8 pins. Its better to run separate cables from your PSU if you card does have two 8 pin plugs but the split cables will work as well.

It's set up so you can use either of the 8-pin (6+2-pin) VGA cables or, if need be, you can use both 6-pin VGA (leaving the +2 hanging) in case you needed to power two separate cards with 6-pin power.

Yeah. Most PSUs have this configuration although some are very generous with how extra cable there is and if you can hide it. You can order custom cables from someplace like cablemod.com but you have to check if they have cables for your specific PSU https://cablemod.com/compatibility/.

PSU cables are standardized only on the device end, not on the PSU end.
